DO YOU OFFER SUPPORT?

Valence technicians are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year in support of your mission-critical operations. If you need support outside of business hours, please call our main office 1-866-927-4777 or 1-509-927-4777. Once you hear our auto-attendant, select option 1 to be transferred to our on-call technician's pager. Please leave a voice message with your name, your agency or company name, your contact number and a brief description of the issue. Our tech will call your contact number back within 30 minutes or less in most cases. If a response is needed, our tech will make every effort to be onsite within 4 hours or less.

DO WE REALLY HAVE TO CONVERT OUR RADIOS TO NARROWBAND?

Yes, the FCC is mandating that all 25Khz licenses in the Industrial/Business and Public Safety Pool be converted to 12.5Khz or narrower by January 1st, 2013.

WILL WE HAVE TO REPLACE OUR ENTIRE FLEET OF RADIOS WHEN WE GO NARROWBAND?

Not necessarily. Many manufacturers have been making narrowband compliant radios for a number of years and will be capable of operating in this mode. An audit of your equipment should be undertaken to get an idea of which ones may be re-utilized.
